Yes, the Electa stroller is approved for newborn use however, for newborns Inglesina recommends the use of the Electa bassinet + stand (sold separately).

How can the Electa stroller be cleaned?
We recommend cleaning the Electa stroller by hand washing it with cold water and a mild detergent, then air drying it in a shaded area. Do not use solvents, ammonia or benzine. For additional cleaning instructions please refer to the Electa stroller instruction manual.
Does the Electa stroller have front or rear wheel suspensions?
Yes, the Electa has both front and rear wheel suspensions.
Does the Electa stroller contain regulated BPA, lead, flame retardants, PFAs, PFOs, heavy metals or pthalates?

Can the Electa stroller accommodate a snack tray?
It can accommodate a universal snack tray, however Inglesina does not offer a custom one.

What is the difference between the Electa sold in the Americas and the Electa sold overseas?
To meet American standards, the Electa stroller sold in the Americas can recline up to 155 degrees, whereas the overseas model can recline up to 170 degrees. Due to American regulations no stroller sold in the USA can recline past 155 degrees unless it is being used with a bassinet attached.
Is the Electa stroller fabric Anti-UV treated?
Yes, the Electa stroller features Anti-UV treated fabric (UPF 50+).
My basket came with a small hole. Is this normal?
Yes, all of our baskets arrive with a small hole so that any water build up can easily be drained.
